I'm very happy with my drying rack. It works great for shirts and other large items I need to dry. It fits in my attic where things dry quickly. This was exactly what I was looking for.
I was so pleased to find a plastic-free, made in the USA product to suit my needs. It was delivered promptly and in perfect condition. I use the drying rack for my wool and cashmere sweaters and the length and thickness of the arms is perfect for most items. It is quite sturdy and I am certain it will last. I am very happy with my purchase.
My dryer quit on me and a new one was not in the budget, so I searched for a good sturdy drying rack for indoors to get us though the soggy winters out here near Seattle. I had used the usual types before, but found they weren't great for dealing with heavy or large bits of bedding and towels. When I saw the Amish made rack I knew I'd found my solution. Ordering was easy, and the rack arrived in a timely fashion with good email notifications to keep me up to date on my order's progress. When it arrived, I was amazed and thrilled at how it came totally assembled and ready to set up. It's really amazing how you just slide it out of the box and it stands itself up! Then you just pull up and out on each spoke and voila! Large top area for spreading out heavier items and 16 arms to hang from is whatever configuration you need! It's very well built and easy to manage, and when you don't need it, it's simple to just reduce it back to it's shipped size. It seemed to be a bit more expensive, but unlike the typical drying racks, this one is made to last a lifetime.
The folks make GREAT products. This is second purchase from Best Drying Rack. Will for sure purchase clothes pins and drying rack(s) again and recommend. Quality is better that any I've ever purchased or checked out in stores. Similar to the drying rack my grandmother had growing up. I'm sure someone in my family still has that....
Great working rack, will hold 16 large items of clothing. It is a really cool design and easy to use. It is well made and I believe will last a very long time. It actually is very unique and people comment on it all the time. It looks stylish when closed, like an art piece! I especially like the fact that you can use only half of the rack and the stand supports it without falling over.

Made of smooth white Maple, with no coatings. Arms are 1/2" x 3/4" rectangular boards.
