Our new drying rack was a housewarming present and we are so pleased! Install was easy (made easier with the help of an auger and the experience of someone who has done it before) and we're constantly amazed with 1) how easy it is to put up/take down, 2) how unobtrusive it looks in our yard, 3) how much laundry it can hold! We love that it was made in the USA - and supports a small business - and that we can dry our clothes out-of-doors. Our new drying rack makes us look forward to doing laundry...seriously!

This is our second drying rack. The first one we had was 10 years old and unfortunately this summer we had several storms with extremely high winds and one of the wooden arms broke. We ordered another drying rack immediately and received the replacement in two weeks time.

I recently moved and wanted a clothesline even though I have been using small collapsible drying racks, they're just not the same. I researched on Amazon for possibilities and even bought one but then learned it was out of stock and canceled the order. I stumbled across the BestDryingRack website and ended up buying the smaller clothesline (colored green). Easy ordering, it arrived earlier than originally anticipated, and relatively lightweight. The most challenging part for me was digging the hole but once that was done set up was super easy. I love this product and every time I hang clothes out I can't help but smile- seriously it's the little things!

The standard umbrella clothesline seems really well made- very sturdy. It was not hard to install, though a little video would have been helpful, as the diagram was very basic. We haven't had it long enough to really comment on its longevity, and haven't even used it yet- that's the problem with this review system. But all things considered, so far we're quite happy with how it's built, the shipping, and ease of assembly.

I'm happy with the product. I was disappointed that the ropes are plastic, since I try to avoid plastic; but I know that there are few options. The rest of the item was metal and wood, which I like. It would be helpful if the website told us that the base needs a deep hole dug, and gravel is recommended, so we could have been better prepared to install the clothesline.

GREAT drying rack! I've been using clothesline umbrellas for a decade and this is my third. This one was a little pricier compared to the umbrellas on Amazon, Wayfair, etc, but I think it's well-worth the investment for how sturdy it is. I love that it is made of metal and wood and it seems like it will last my lifetime. I really like that it came pre-strung but that it also included a printed guide to how to string, so in the future I can replace the line. The action to put up the umbrella and take it down is smooth and more wear-proof than other umbrellas. So far, it is very sturdy and is holding up well in the prairie winds, even with no concrete base. I really appreciate that's it's made in USA, and the website had options to also buy a cover and clothespins. The clothespins I bought in this shipment really are heavy-duty- they were able to hold heavy materials easily (the only clothespins that have been this strong that I've tried are ExtremeClothespins). My only feedback on ways to improve, is that I found the printed guide on how to assemble the base a little confusing- adding more diagrams/images or more information on unpacking might help. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a clothesline umbrella. It might be too soon to call since I've only had it a few weeks, but this might actually be the Best Drying Rack!

I had been looking for something that would hold more than a single line. At first the price seemed a little much, but I finally bought one and am VERY happy with the quality. The rack is sturdy and I can tell it will last a long time. It is well designed with quality parts. The instructions are clear. Happy I spent the extra money for the cover as it makes it easier to remove when mowing.

The directions and illustrations were clear. Assembly was easy and did not take great strength. I leave mine set up and it has good air flow. I do recommend this drying rack and may get the larger rack later. It is also great for airing lap blankets.

This is the best drying rack (clothesline) to buy. Flimsy and less expensive aluminum merry-go-round clotheslines will fail just after the return-by date and you will be sorry. Or the plastic lines will continuously stretch causing extreme sagging and frustration. So far, The Best Drying Rack beast stands like a spinning rock in my yard with strong arms aloft holding up my wash. Watch the video on how to put it together to understand to have the two 90 degree ground blades ready (loosely attached to each other forming a center hole for the pole) in order to slip in the upper clothesline pole. It was tight and I had wiggle it a bit. Then tighten the wing nuts gently. I am going on faith that the company will standby their product through time.

Great clothesline. I was afraid at first theat it would not hold all of my clothes but I was able to hang 5 loads at once. Another plus is the clothes dry quickly because of the spacing of the lines. Wish I would have found this company 15 years ago. Highly recommend.

I bought the larger sized rotary clothesline. Easy to assemble and concreted it into the ground as it's quite windy on the hill. Absolutely love it including the strong and beautifully made maple wood clothes pins. Quality products that will last for years. Highly recommend Company and products.

I purchased the clothesline (umbrella type) a few years ago and have been very pleased with the overall quality. Very sturdy, well-made, and easy to install. Just recently, May 2024, I decided it was time to buy the cover so I could leave the clothesline outside, collapsed, and covered. I wasn't done yet. I decided to buy the clothes pins. I've waited to write a review because i really wanted to use it for a few months. My overall rating is 4.5 stars out of 5. It's very unintrusive when not in use which is a plus if you live in a development that has an HOA. I purchased the cover and it looks good, easy for even a 5ft person to put on and protects it from the elements. Its surprising how much I can but on it and have everything dry! It's really well made and I believe last. I only have one comment that is on the negative side. When I open it I do have to play around and pull from different spots to get it expand. It's doable but I wish it worked smoother. If I am make it open anyone can! Don't let this comment hold you back from purchasing. It really is a very well made product.

Just receive the 9' drying rack product and am very pleased so far. Installation was fairly easy and straightforward. Directions suggested to dig out a hole for the stabilizer wings and then fill in with soil. Instead, I placed a board over the top of the stabilizer wings and used a rubber mallet to tap the wings down into the soil. Less digging and I didn't need to pack down the dug up soil and the grass was left in place to keep everything in place.

LOVE THE DRYING RACK. IT HAS MORE THAN ENOUGH DRYING SPACE. IT IS HOWEVER, VERY HARD FOR ONE PERSON TO OPEN. I HAVE TRIED USING BAR SOAP ON THE POLE TO HELP IT SLIDE EASIER, WITH LITTLE RESULTS. MY NEXT TRY IS LITHIUM WHITE GREASE.

I love the ease of setting up and using my new umbrella drying rack. The clothesline spins! so I don't have to move when hanging out clothes. Also, I love the big clothespins (Kevin's) I ordered. The drying rack I received is above and beyond my expectations from the description. I live in southern Arizona so the sun ruins anything plastic in one summer. This superbly constructed clothes drying rack has no plastic parts. I also purchased the storage cover it is a great investment. It will protect from the sun and keep the lines clean from the blowing dust. I highly recommend this made in America company.

In the few months that I have had this clothes drying rack, I have been very pleased with my purchase. It took me more than a few days to put it up because I didn't believe it was as easy as they said. I watched an old youtube video and when I finally got to it, I could not have been happier to find it WAS EASY! Well, as easy as digging a hole! Putting it up and down is a little bit of a hassle, but given my investment, I'm dealing with it because I want it to last a good long time. I thought it was pricey, but I considered all the options and supporting small businesses is always a plus, so I did it. It arrived quickly and without issue. It's not super high which is good, and once I get the hang of putting it up and letting it down (I make it harder than it is) I think this is going to be a good overall investment.

After researching drying racks on line and in my local big-box stores, I quickly discovered that the one I purchased in July at BestDryingRack is the absolute BEST purchase I could have made! I little pricier than the others, but the quality is so much better than the cheap aluminum ones and well worth the extra money I paid. I always loved the memories of my mother hanging clothes out on the line to dry (with five kids, there was a lot of clothes!) My husband and I have a goal of one day living off the grid and purchasing this laundry drying rack made so much sense. It holds a TON of clothes (3+ loads!) and it doesn't take up as much room in the back yard as I thought it would. I use it 3-4 times a week and collapse it down when not in use. It came with a great warranty (and parts available should I ever need them!), but it is so well made, I doubt I'll ever have to make any repairs. I just LOVE my new drying rack and want to keep it nice looking as long as I can. I think the forest green wood color is very attractive. I'm handy with a sewing machine, so I made a canvas cover for it. I'm serious when I say I SMILE every time I look at the darn thing! I came up with a great idea for drying t-shirts. I hang them all up when they come out of the washer (about 20 of them!) on plastic hangers and simply hang them on different levels on the drying rack, securing them with a clothespin on either side of the hook. When they're done drying, I simply grab them all up and put them in each of the family members closets. I simply can't say enought good things about my experience and product from BestDryingRack!!

while we have yet to put up the clothesline, we are excited for that time. It's been so rainy. We had an issue with FedEx, tho...they said they delivered to the house but it was left by the township road near a fence in the rain. We did not know where it was until someone told us. The box was soaked. If possible, I would. have UPS deliver...that was the only issue we had.

Why buy a disposable clothesline? I love my new BestDryingRack umbrella clothesline! You can get less expensive ones on Amazon or at your local Home Depot, but they don't feel sturdy. They also don't have the one feature that this one has: it ROTATES! So you stand in one spot and put the clothes on the each line. (Now if only I can remember to move the clothespins so I don't have to spin it back). It's also incredibly sturdy. I didn't use concrete for the base. Somewhere on this site, a gentleman gave install instructions that don't use concrete except in sandy soil. The wings on the base are so strong that they hold (if you take effort and do it right!) Don't buy 'cheap' clotheslines. Do it right and you won't be disappointed. Ps. The environment and your sheets will thank you.

We bought the standard model umbrella clothesline and could not be more happy. For years we had a cheap metal umbrella rack and there is no comparison between the two. It's so good that my wife sent me a text the other day, with a photo of the clothesline full of laundry and the comment that she now looks for an excuse to do a wash. The following day, our neighbor crossed the lawn to say hello, carrying a basket full of laundry that he was taking to put in the dryer. My wife told me she sang the praises of our new line, but said that her enthusiasm reached its limit when he suggested that perhaps she would like to hang his load on the line. Never thought I'd be writing a review of a clothesline, but it's a great product. Thanks.

I love my new clothesline! It was my Mother's Day gift to myself. I like practical gifts. It arrived quickly. It was easy to install. I keep mine in the garage until laundry day. It is easy to put up and take down. There is plenty of room for my laundry. I never use my dryer from late spring to fall. I plan to use my clothesline for years to come! Also, I purchased some of the clothes pins and I love them too! Two clothes pins can hold a pair of my husband's heavy-duty jeans, no problem. I used to have to use at least 4 clothes pins before. I highly recommend both products!

Love my outdoor clothes drying rack. Affectionately known as my 'whirly gig', it makes me so happy! It was easy to install, spins nicely and my clothes dry and smell wonderful from the sunshine. Oh, and the tallest line is still low enough to easily reach! It will be interesting to see how it does with a hot summer but loving it so far.

We've only had the clothesline installed for two weeks because of the weather and have only used it twice for the same reason. We love it though. It is exactly what we wanted. It is sturdy and was easy to install even for two 'older' people. I regret not buying the cover to help protect it from the weather. So I guess another order will be necessary.
