I've been agonizing over what type of clothes drying to either make or purchase. My husband mapped out and put together a list of items we would need from the home improvement store and I scoured various websites for drying racks. When I stumbled upon this site, I knew this was THE ONE!!! Love, love, love it. It's super sturdy and can accommodate so many loads and/or sheet sets. I would (have have) highly recommend.

I'm very pleased with the umbrella style clothes tree. I purchased the smaller of the two and it's perfect, we've put on several loads of laundry at once with no problems. The quality is excellent and I expect years of trouble free service from it. Installation was also pretty easy with just a post hole digger and a half bag of gravel it was in in about a half hour, solid as can be. I also purchased the cover, and I'm very glad I did, it goes on super easy and keeps everything clean and dry from the weather. Oh, and I received my first electric bill since I stopped using the dryer, Wow! this will be paid for in about 4-5 months. I looked a several on Amazon, and they were cheaply made, I highly recommend this product.

Wish there was a rating higher than 5 stars! I first purchased the umbrella clothesline and clothespins (which I absolutely love) in the spring and have only used my electric dryer twice the entire summer. Because I was constantly running out of clothespins I purchased more. With cold weather approaching I decided to buy the tall drying rack that I set up in our spare room and now use on rainy days so I no longer have to adjust my laundry day. Drying clothes on the drying rack will add a little humidity to the air this winter I'm getting ready to order the round drying rack to have a more space and so I can finally throw away the flimsy one that was made in China. Great bonus everything is made in America and the quality workmanship is amazing.

My cousin ordered your folding clothesline, and recommended it to me. I did some online comparison shopping, read reviews, and agreed that your product looked like the best quality option. It was amazingly easy to assemble and install (I watched the tutorial video), and I absolutely love it! Part of it is the nostalgia aspect, but I also like that it saves energy and saves wear on my clothes. I also ordered the cover to protect it when it's not in use. I ordered from BestDryingRack because the products are made in the USA. I used to have 4 steel poles holding my laundry lines and the umbrella-style dryer was new to me. The rack was easy for my son to install and it works beautifully, only takes about 2-3 minutes to open and close. The canvas cover keeps it dry during inclement weather and, living in the Mid-Atlantic Region with sometimes nasty winters, we'll take it out of the ground when the snow and ice hits. The amount of laundry it holds is surprising. I can't imagine why I waited so long to buy such a neat, easy to use clothesline. Also, the quality of the rack is impressive and well worth the price. I also purchased a wooden Amish-style dryer for use indoors. The quality is impressive and that dryer, too holds a lot more laundry than expected. I am very happy with my purchases and will recommend them every chance I get! Thank you for making such quality products.

The rotary 'umbrella' clothes line from BestDryingRack arrived more quickly than I expected. The instructions for installation were straightforward, and fairly intuitive. The lines were all nicely strung, so when I 'opened the umbrella after installing the base, it was ready to go. It has lots of capacity, which is excellent. It seems solid and durable, and I appreciate that it's made with wood and steel by a small shop in the USA. I'm happy with the purchase!

Loved my old clothesline (same one) so much that, after untold years and the expected wear, I simply had to replace it with another. Moved the old one up north to the cottage as it is still perfectly functional. These are easy to set up and easy to move out of the way to mow. The "Standard" umbrella clothesline is just the right size, with plenty of line space for this family of two.

I love my drying Rack! We lost our home in November of 2018 to the Woolsey fire in California and we just completed and moved into our new Re-build in June 29, 2022 my drying rack compleates me. I can say I am home! I love the design, and the fact that I can fold like an umbrella. The best part is that is built here in the states!

Easily installed, well made, it is very much worth the money since parts can be removed and replaced if broken. I would recommend the cover - it will protect your investment. We didn't get one but will order one soon. It took a long time to find a rack that was well made - this is it.

The clothesline (umbrella style, standard size) arrived quickly and we got it set up in the yard without problem. It's well built with quality material and very sturdy. It's also a plus that you don't need to cement the post in the ground. We have used the clothesline extensively since purchase. It's a great buy, worth every penny!!

This drying rack is worth the money. It is very well made and the ease of installation is nice. I want to applaud whoever engineered this rack because it is a very well thought out product. I really think that the people that are looking at a drying rack to purchase should really consider this brand. I am just a normal everyday consumer and am writing this review because it is hard for people to find good products especially online looking at pictures and reading all of the crazy reviews. We are more than thrilled with our drying rack! It was well packed for shipping and assembly and set up was super easy! It is so sturdy. We had a very large quilt that did not spin well in our washer and was super heavy with water and the rack held it till dry with no tilting or sagging! Clothes dry quickly. We also purchased the heavy duty clothes pins and they are a great asset for hanging heavy and light clothing. And, they are beautifully made!

Can I just say that I am so happy about my purchase of my drying rack. I have had aluminum ones in the past that have lasted for 5 years maybe? I was so happy to find you. I think it's important to buy made in the U.S.A. products and ones that are built to last for generations as your marketing states. My daughter helped with the installation (I'm 67 and not as strong as I used to be). The instructions are clear and the video helped also. I love hanging clothes out to dry. Brings back memories of childhood and hanging laundry with my Grandmother. Thank you for producing a quality product.

The rack was easy to install. I purchased the smaller one (3-4 loads), it only holds 2 of our laundry loads. However We have 6 young children with smaller clothing. The rack is made of quality materials and should last for years to come. My only regret is I wish I would have purchased the larger one.

I absolutely love the umbrella clothesline and the clothespins. They are the highest quality by far and so even though the items might seem a bit pricey the fact that I won't need to replace them makes for a huge savings in the long run, especially energy. I am now considering buying the large drying rack so I can dry clothes inside during inclement weather without using my electric dryer.

I have been wanting a clothesline for a while. Finally, my husband found this one online. I took a look and liked the idea that is was a small operation, and mostly made in the USA. We just put it up yesterday. It was easy to install, except that we have clay and rock, no dirt. We had to use a tractor with an auger to make the hole, but that is okay, we know what our ground it like that is why we have the equipment. The instructions were easy to follow and installation was quite painless. The clotheslines is well made and we are very pleased with our purchase. I highly recommend this product.

I want to tell you that I love my large size umbrella clothesline! I ordered it in November 2021 but I didn't put it up till a couple of weeks ago because of winter. I put my clothes basket on a little patio table and moved very little since I could rotate the clothesline to put the clothes on it. It is one of the best, most liked tools that I have. It was easy to hang the clothes up, easy to take them down and I really like the fresh dried clothes! Thanks so much for the great service and the cover is a great investment. I went to Lowe's, and got a 1/2 pvc pipe and caps for both ends. The guy at Lowes cut the 10ft length to 8 foot length and I store the cover wand in the clothesline and it comes off easily and goes on easily. I really appreciate it all. Thanks so much, Jim

I was recently widowed, so I thought I would purchase a new drying rack, ie clothes line. It is the best quality I've seen. I was confident that I could install it myself and I did! Since I knew I couldn't dig a deep hole for it, I put a T-post where I wanted it and slid it down over it. Perfect solution. I use it every time I do any type of laundry. This is the second buying item I've purchased from BestDryingRack and I am very happy with my purchases. I have the indoor Round Drying Rack with 16 arms which I absolutely love using . It's so easy to set up and it looks great when collapsed or in use. I have recently purchased the outdoor Standard umbrella clothesline and I am absolutely in love with it. It is very well built, solid and works and looks exactly as described. I bought it to replace another umbrella clothesline from another company, that I was also happy with until the clothesline itself broke in a number of places and because of the way the line was led through the metal arms it was impossible to relead the line correctly. Not so the Best Drying Umbrella Rack. When and if the clothesline eventually parts it will be very simple to purchase more line and replace because there are no internal leads. It is a simple and smart design which is always the best! I highly recommend this company and their fine products. Thank you Best Drying Rack !

I really do love this drying rack. It is sturdy and I have no issues setting it up and taking it down. I can remove it easily so that it isn't in my yard when not in use. I like that the rack spins so that I can place my basket of clothing in one spot and not have to keep moving around to open line. It holds about 3 loads of laundry. It takes up only a small area of my yard. I like that the line itself is taut. One of the best features is that the height is adjustable to accommodate for a short person. I am 5 foot tall so most units are too tall for me to reach. Shipping was super fast.

With a household of 7, the large umbrella clothesline is perfect!! Fill it up almost daily. Jeans, comforters, towels, multiple large loads of clothes. I try to balance sides but even if I didnt it is still very sturdy!! Have had since the fall and love it! Did purchase cover which I am also very pleased with. Everything is very easy to use. Did Have slight issue when it arrived. Some lines were crossed and boltwas loose in box. But customer service was very friendly and helpful! Also, purchased the heavy duty clothespins and recommend you do the same. They are wonderful, durable, strong and truly heavy duty!!! Oh how wonderful it would be if more things were made in the USA!

My first drying rack from this company was purchased over 20 years ago. A bracket finally wore out (it was outside in the midwest year-round) so it was time to replace it. The new one needed a small modification to make it fit the original base pole so we didn't have to dig a new hole. Hubby made a bushing with his 3D printer and it's working great! Hopefully this one will last another 20 years!

I was looking for an umbrella/fold-up style drying rack and found the models at the BestDryingRack (BDR) to be much better than the other less robust imported models online. The BDR models looked to be the quality level I was searching for and I quickly decided it was OK to pay a little more for your basic design features of replaceable parts and made in USA. Order placement was easy and the rack arrived in several days. Packaging was adequate to protect the rack. The installation instructions were clear and easy to execute. In my household the users of the rack were instructed on operation of the rack. Their feedback is that they like the height, the ability to stand in one spot and rotate the rack as each side is filled. The rack is returned to it's closed position when not in use. So far so good, thanks for a great product that we are proud to use.

I had previously struggled for years with a cheap aluminum clothesline I bought from one of the big box hardware stores. The arms on that system kept bending slightly out of shape, making them very difficult to fold and unfold. Finally, pieces of the plastic that held those arms in place broke off, and I realized (with some relief) that the clothesline would not function at all and was not repairable. An internet search took me to the Best Drying Rack site, and I was impressed with the durability and workmanship of the product, much liked the fact it was built in the US, and also liked the fact that it could be repaired. I easily installed the rack, and we've been enjoying it for a few weeks now. I have no complaints, no suggestions for improvement in either the product or customer service, and look forward to many years of using the Best Drying Rack. It is definitely worth the price.

This clothes line is well built, and made in the U.S.A.. Simple set up. I would have preferred a coated cable line, but that would have made the set up very heavy to deal with, and the cost would be a lot more. But, overall, we are pleased and grateful for this product.

I love my new clothesline. I was hoping for one of those old concrete and steel set-ups when we bought our house, but the yard didn't come with a clothesline. Other options, like the retractable line in my previous home, seemed flimsy. But this clothesline is great! It's easy to take out and put in, and it's very sturdy--and it spins. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and care that went into the design.

I LOVE Best Drying Rack! I love the quality of you products. I love the fact that your products are built to be used and built to last. I found your site several years ago when I was looking to replace an umbrella clothesline. You had just what I wanted, but the price scared me, with my husbands' encouragement I bought the clothesline and I've been raving about it ever since. This year I needed to replace the small clothes pins for hanging up clothes and was extremely happy to see that you carried them. Again, the price gave me pause, but I bought several sets, and when they arrived I got rid of my old clothes pins and couldn't wait to hang clothes. I've been waiting years to have a house and a clothesline outdoors! LOVE my clothesline and even though this has been a super hot, humid and rainy summer I make the most of the sunny days. Also helps because the clothes dryer machine is electric-powered and I don't want to waste electricity. I bought the standard umbrella clothesline and also the circular wooden rack, which I use indoors in addition to the other indoor racks I already owned. I love how space-saving and simple it is . . I only need to open the arms I need, sometimes that's just 2 or 3. And I think it's pretty, too.

I'm thrilled with my new clothesline! I made the decision to replace my first one after deciding it would take too long to find help in repairing my old one with a new board and line. There are some upgrades from my first one that I'm very pleased about - the addition of more lines ( closer together), the clamp at the base to aid in raising the lines and especially the mechanics of tightening the lines after raising them to catch the bar. I'm alone now but I still chose the large one for the ability to hang large items. Finally I'll say that I'll take better care this time to get it inside in winter out of the weather - one arm rotted and broke.

I've wanted a clothesline for years - nothing better than sun dried sheets in summer! But I've also worked hard to make our yard beautiful. Love my umbrella drying rack. Had concerns about it working in my "sandy" yard but it's great. Installation/set up was easy and quick. Love the profile with the cover, looks great!!! Ordered the standard umbrella clothesline June 21, 2021. After ordering I found out that there was a delay in shipping because they were out of the standard arm. Not a problem with all this VIRUS STUFF. Was told that it would not be shipped until July 6. The package was shipped on June 29 and arrived as expected. Installation was easy, with the exception that there has been no good rain since May and the North Carolina redcclay was hard as concrete. Contacted Greg and he made suggestions to wet the soil and tamp it. Buried with PVC pipe with the wings in the ground. Put the soil in the hole for a few inches. Let water soak in and then a few more inches of soil on top and tamped the soil around the pipe. Did this a few inches at at time to fill the hole. The NC red clay compacted tight around the pipe and is probably as hard as concrete. The line unit went in perfectly and we are now in business with our Solar Clothes dryer. Great company and very helpful.

We are loving the umbrella drying rack. It's solidly built, and being held up in our sandy soil with the help of chunks of gravel to make drying day an upright experience. We bought one of the large Sunshine Dryers 25 years ago, and just replaced it. The old one stayed outside 24/7, and I decided to get a new one. I was very happy with the quality of the old one, and the new one has sturdier brackets, so good!

This is my third drying rack in the last 45 years. This one looks like it will last for a real long time. One of the best in quality iI have ever purchased. This thing does spin a lot. But over all I am proud of this purchase.

The absolute Best purchase ever! I called the company to ask advice and they were so helpful I bought the umbrella drying rack and use almost every day! The close pins are great! The added plus is that everything is made in the USA! Definitely will be purchasing other Items!

I have been wanting an outdoor clothesline for some time now, and after hanging a couple of shirts out, I pulled the trigger - it is my new favorite thing. There is nothing like the smell of laundry that has been dried in the sunshine and wind! Bedsheets are the bomb! I have a couple of neighbors who are jealous (I now let them use it for their sheets) I also like the fact the clothesline is made in the USA and is such good quality.

Our large umbrella clothesline looks great. My buying experience was very good over the phone, delivery was great and on time.We live in Michigan and can't wait for the ground to thaw so we can install and start drying our clothes outside. PS best clothespins you can buy!
