...I purchased the Standard Umbrella Rotary Clothesline & would recommend this product (the best of its kind I've ever seen: & made in Iowa, USA!) and this company. As I will be using this Rotary Clothesline year around, and live in upstate New York, I purchased the Standard Cover too.

A convenient design as it came already assembled. Being able to rotate the rack while you stand in one place is a nice feature. Also, with wind the rack will rotate making the drying time shorter.

Love this clothesline. We bought the large one. We do a lot of laundry and there is still more room To hang more laundry. Love thats it's adjustable .we did put it in concrete. We live in Florida and ground is very sandy adding dirt just didn't cut it. Very durable and standing up to the wind very well made. Worth the price. Would recommend to anyone that hangs laundry everyday. Thank you to everyone at the company for a very well made product made in the USA

My wife has used an outside cloths drying rack forever. Needless to say I have repaired/replaced far too many due to cheap, shoddy components and poor design. This product is well designed, has strong components, and was easy to install. This is a winner hands down! My only suggestion for improvement would be to use nylon line rather then poly,which has a short life when exposed to weather and UV rays. I have pondered many times how I would engineer a better clothesline and this one impresses me!

The umbrella style drying rack is wonderful, sturdy and well thought out. If you are lucky enough to be able to use the outdoors for drying clothes, this is a highly desirable design. Shipping was prompt and trouble free.

My drying tree is a time saver. I set it up so I can load it while standing in my driveway, no more wet shoes. Lightweight and simple to stow away at the end of the day. Why did I wait so long, fighting with sagging lines and bent support poles. Simple now! Thanks.

The umbrella cloths line is fabulous! I order this product for my wife, and as a gag, I left an electronic note for her that said the cloths line was for our 50th wedding anniversary! Well, I think the people in shipping must have gotten a kick out of this, made a paper copy and taped the note to the out side of the shipping container. My wife was delighted with the note and has shown several people and told the story many times. Oh by the way, She loves the cloths line and said she would stay with me for another 50 years.

I LOVE MY NEW CLOTHESLINE!!! I can hardly express how great it is. My old line has been on it's last legs for 2 years, and I was not going to buy another just like it that would die a slow death in too few years. The website explained the unit well. The buying experience was easy and secure. Shipping was quick and the umbrella style outside clothesline was well packed. The instructions were easy to follow for set up and I was able to install and set it up alone. The item works great and holds king sized sheets and a full load of towels at the same time.

We found BestDryingRack.com after lots of online searching, and were very interested in the fact that no concrete needed to be poured in order to install the post. Our yard is full of roots and rocks, but we were able to dig a hole deep enough to hold the post, and the rest of the installation was a snap! We had a few questions about the installation before we started, but it was a weekend and the customer service line was not available until Monday. Then we noticed the "text us anytime!" note on the Contact page, and were able to get answers to our questions in just a few minutes! Great customer service! Lastly, I want to send a shout-out to the family that makes the heavy-duty clothespins that are available on the site--they are SO MUCH BETTER than the flimsy little clothespins I'm used to. Strong enough to hold a sopping-wet towel! And beautiful, too. It felt good to buy both the rack and the clothespins knowing they were made here in the U.S. Thank you, and keep up the great work!

This is a strong and very well-made clothesline. It hasn't been through a winter yet, but it looks like it will hold up fine. My handi man that put it up couldn't believe how sturdy it is. I love it.

I have always had to build my clotheslines in the past because any pre- made could never hold the amount or weight of the laundry that I do each week. I saw your ad in Mother Earth News and after having read the reviews, decided to give it a try (I was skeptical). I am now a converted fan! I have the larger model and it has exceeded my expectations!. It holds 4 loads at once with ease. No more building clotheslines for me. BEST CLOTHESLINE EVER!

I purchased the umbrella clothesline after a little research online. The reviews on the website were what made the decision for me and I'm so glad I did! This thing is awesome! I bought it for our camp in Maine and wanted a line that could hold a lot of towels and suits when we have the house full but didn't want a large line in our way screaming 'TOWELS!' I actually set it up on the edge of the meadow and can stand on the cut grass and rotate it around to hang things, so it's not eating up space in the mown areas. This fall when we close for the season I can just fold her up and store her in the boathouse- perfection. Quality- top notch, really sturdy and we get some wind. More often than not, today, you hear 'They just don't make things like they used to.' Well let me tell you, this umbrella clothesline is a classic, and feels like it was made back when things were done right. I guess I would highly recommend it.

I have the extra large drying rack - and it is AWESOME! I have put 2 sets of king size sheets plus a king size bedspread on it at one time - and it handled it like a champ. It was so easy to install, opening the first time was just a little tricky, but now that I have that down, it's a breeze. Ordering was simple, was delivered quicker than anticipated and the cost is the best around (and I shopped around). I love, love, love it!

I'm so glad I found this product. I was looking for a rotary clothesline with a 2 inch mast to fit in an existing concrete base. It is so well made, sturdy and just what I needed. They are very responsive, I texted them with a couple of questions on a holiday and they responded quickly! Ordering process was easy and the umbrella drying arrived quickly. Other than trying to dig a 20+inch hole in our yard (wished I had an auger) the set up was easy...the hole digging took FOREVER and took multiple people multiple hours.

For many years my neighbor had one which looked similar. It was larger than mine and orange in color. I never knew where they got it. I found you by just 'surfing' the net. I think the drying rack is a well made product. I liked the way I was able to install it, the fins that go around the plastic pipe and in the ground made it easy to plumb and then I poured a sack and a half of concrete mix around it and wet good. Job done. Dug hole with 8" post hole digger, that way the fins touched the ground on all sides and stabilized the pipe and kept it plumb. We had went thru two of the cheaper made lighter aluminum models and this is much better.

This is a wonderful drying rack, though I refer to it as a "clothesline". Made in America means a lot to me and I would gladly have paid triple the price for this "clothesline". It was easy to put together, it is sturdy, it is adjustable, it spins around, it's tall enough for bath sheets, it's pretty to look at and through the site I learned about hand made clothespins made in Washington State. I've been looking for many years for a clothesline which resembled one I grew up with and I finally found one. It takes up very little space and is easy to take down to appease HOA regulations. It's a terrific product.

I love my rack. I got the smaller size and it's perfect for my stature. Putting in the base was easy. I had to untangle the line out of the box but by starting at the bottom and circling around each level it was fairly fast. I was surprised there was no weather cover included. I have to buy an umbrella cover at the dyi store.

This unit was ready to install right out of the box. It really only took about 15 min. I know the directions say just dig a hole, put the base in the hole and fill the hole with dirt. Well I did that except I had a bag of concrete and filled the hole with concrete instead of the dirt. Before filling the hole just make sure the base in the hole is vertically plumb so when you put the clothesline in the base its level with the ground. My wife loves it, its so easy to use and store.

Absolutely love my drying racks! I wasn't able to fit one of the umbrella lines in my yard so these were the best choice. I set them on my pool deck and move them when they are not in use. I am able to easily dry one large load on the two. Perfect!

I never thought I would use the words ecstatic and clothesline in the same sentence. However, my husband and I are ecstatic and we couldn't be more pleased with our purchase of the green standard model clothesline! It is an outstanding clothesline! It is a product of quality. I am a 79 year old senior and still waiting for someone to install it so I can not rate it at this time. I did not know it came in colors and must admit I do not like the red as I prefer something blending with environment. I am hoping I will like it once it is installed as I enjoy hanging clothes outside. Thanks for contacting me about it. I would love to give you my opinion once it is installed.

Definitely worth the investment! Excellent design (plenty of room to duck under and between to hang a sock in an open space without getting tangled) and remarkable quality. This thing is gonna last for decades, if not longer. Installation was a moderate endeavor because we wanted to do it right but the instructions were clear and detailed enough. I am so very glad I decided to go with Made In The USA Best Drying Rack.

Product was as promised and seems like a solid and durable product. I cemented the base in the ground, making it very sturdy and relatively easy to put up and down. Should last much longer than the cheaper aluminum racks that tend to eventually bend in a strong wind. I would recommend this product.
