Reviews of our Umbrella Clothesline: 2016

Well I am a bit disturbed about your product from the affect that it had on our Kansas weather. Two days after receiving the clothesline we had our first freeze, just before thanksgiving, then after T'giving we have had this rash of record cold and am not impressed. Since the weather has gone to pot after the arrival of your product I can only assume that there is some connection with your service. LoL, all is great and we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. It is going to be a great year.

I loved my clothesline so much I bought one for my daughter. It makes me happy to drive up to my house and see my sheets on the line. There is something very relaxing about hanging things on the line.

Im very happy with my purchase. I have had neighbors ask me about my clothes line and have passed on your web sight. I wish I could rate with more stars! THIS drying rack is the one I've dreamed of - it won't bend or break off when it's full of wet laundry. It's easy to put up and take down (seasonally). I look forward to many years of 'hanging the wash' on this dryer. Thanks for making such a superior product.

Expensive but worth it! None of the umbrella clotheslines I saw on Amazon seemed nearly as good though I probably would have gotten free shipping had I bought one. I like the fact that parts are replaceable. I'm glad I bought the cover as I intend to leave my clothesline in place most of the time and the cover makes it look tidier and helps keep it clean. Digging the hole was the only hard part, my desert soil being full of rocks and roots, but persistence paid off in the end.

We ordered this clothesline because it looks sturdy and much more practical than the others on the market today. We have been extremely pleased at the simple installation and I've found that using the pvc poles in two part that fit together work very well with using and removing the cover. This is a very nice product that should last many years!

Large Rotary Washing Line. Terrific product. I love our new washing line! I love that it spins around and can hold a lot of clothes. I've wanted one for a long time and am glad that my husband found this one! It makes laundry day a "breeze". Happy in Hampstead.

I live in Georgia so spring, summers and falls are mild to hot, so my wife asked me to get her a clothes line and that's when I started my search and came across your web site, the drying racks on most other sites looked cheep and I did not want my wife working with a flimsy dryer rack, y'all's rack cost much more but it is well worth the money she hasn't used the electric dryer in 3 weeks now. It was easy to install and very sturdy when the wind gets up it spins around when clothes are on it, but I haven't see a problem with that yet. Good product and I highly recommend it if your looking for a good drying rack.

It's awesome, I use it weekly. I have the cover to protect it from the harsh weather. I am always sharing with family and friends how nice it is. I actually find it very therapeutic to get to go hang clothes out on the line. A nice break from the rest of my chores and work. Awesome product. I like the fact that ALL parts are replaceable. I like the tension setting for the ropes to keep them nice and tight to prevent sagging.

I spent some time shopping around for a good clothes line, but each one I came across from the bigger brand stores came with terrible reviews, so I went online to find something solid, stable and preferably made in USA. I am so lucky to have found bestdryingrack.com it was Exactly what I was looking for and I placed an order immediately. On arrival, my husband dug the hole and it was ready to use. I have been using it all the time since and I absolutely love it! It is made of Excellent quality materials (Stainless steel and wood) and a very solid/sturdy construction. very pleased that I can hang my washing out to dry. Fortunately we live in an area where we are allowed because quite a few of the new subdivisions near us it is prohibited. My husband wanted to concrete the base in to make it stronger and we dug the hole a bit deeper than was specified so my line is lower than it should be but for me that's not an issue as we get plenty of air movement and there is still room to hang sheets. Overall I am very pleased with the line. It seems nice and strong and I can hang lots of washing out!

I was looking for a replacement for a 1930's rotary clothes line and this was as close as I could find. It seems heavy enough to do the job. I have not tried it with quilts, yet. It is large enough for 2 of my regular washer loads (one heavy duty washer load). I like the thick cord line, but I wonder if it will begin to splinter after a couple years of usage. The collapsible and removable head are a plus.

I've been using my drying rack all summer and it's been the best purchase of its kind I have ever made. Installation was only about an hour, set up is easy and I love that I can just pull it out and store it when needed! Money I save on electric dryer power... well, it's paid for itself! Perfect!

This is a wonderful clothesline. It reminds me of the one my parents had in the sixties, but its sturdier. It has the added benefit of folding (easily) so becomes much less noticeable in the yard. And it's made in the USA! I got the "small" one, and hung two good-size loads on it.

This is a great dryer. It is very sturdy and east to operate. I bought the small size for our household of two and it is more than enough space. It is easy to raise and lower. My old imported rack broke almost immediately and of course there was no way to buy parts so it was jerry-rigged for a year until it broke beyond repair. Highly recommend this product.

When they say, "Best Drying Rack," they mean it!!!! I bought the small umbrella dryer with sleeve. It is absolutely FABULOUS!!!! When I'm through with my laundry, I fold it up, put the sleeve over it, and it kind of "goes away." In other words, it doesn't take up a lot of space, and when folded up with its cover on, it blends in with the surroundings. I can't say enough good things about this product! It is EXCELLENT!!!

We love the installation system you have created for this drying rack. At first we were afraid we would have to prepare a deep hole with cement, but your system was quick and easy to set-up and the rack is very sturdy in its place. We first washed four loads, including queen sized sheets and coverlet, and only used 3 sides! It was also the first time I didn't need to fold the bedding into half in order to make them fit the lines, and could spread them to their full width. WE ARE VERY WELL PLEASED WITH OUR PURCHASE!

This drying rack is wonderful! We live in a windy area so the collapsible feature is a big plus! It is also easily taken completely down for storage. I ordered the large rack & have run out of pins not space for laundry. That is a good problem! It fits several sets of sheets at one time & keeps up to my commercial size washer. This was our second order with BestDryingRack. We originally, a couple years back, bought just the standing one that we could you periodically. This time we ordered the small umbrella clothes line, the cover and clothes pins. We ordered an additional as a gift. I have since ordered more of the great clothes pins. We and the family that received the gift, are VERY happy with it! We are temporarily living in California, and hanging our clothes will help greatly with the energy costs AND the fact that the entire thing, including the clothes pins, are made IN THE USA, is a HUGE plus!!

I've been using outdoor clothes lines for about 50 years. I was skeptical when this site said "best outdoor clothes line ever," but they were right. It's fantastic. I did need to use concrete to set the post, but I'm dealing with rock hard Georgia clay, so that made the anchoring system inadequate without concrete. I'm so impressed with this drying line that I've taken pictures of it to send to friends to show them just how much laundry it will hold. I run an animal sanctuary and do several loads of sheets and towels every day. It's so nice to have a sturdy umbrella style line that can accommodate an enormous quantity of cat bedding. I never would have thought I'd actually look forward to hanging up wet laundry. Thanks for making a truly outstanding product.

I'm very pleased with the new clothes line. It's was simple to install with very little adjustments in order to use. I wasn't sure if my wife would like to use it on a regular basis but I'm as pleased with it as she is. She uses it almost daily so it shouldn't take long to recoup the purchase price of the clothes line. I bought the cover to put on it when it's not in use but that's a rare occasion maybe when we have guest we'll cover it and make them ask what's in our back yard.

I absolutely love my drying rack. I had one that had to be 30 years old and not as nice as this one. It leaned and looked like a tv antenna from outer space. I am quite pleased that this has real clothesline on it instead of the vinyl lines. I find it a little harder to put up than take down and have mastered how to get the cover on and off. It was simple to install and I did not use the concrete around it. I've had a comforter and a quilt that both had to be spotwashed plus 2 loads of clothes on it and still would have had room to hang additional things. Nothing smells better than clothes dried outside and I love walking by the drier instead of throwing the clothes in it. This time of year clothes dry so quickly and they just smell sooo good. Glad I found your website. Everything else I looked at was made overseas and appeared to be cheaply made. Your line should last a lot of years.

We purchased the biggest drying rack and it is just great. We then later ordered the cover for this dryer. The only thing I would change and we did change it, was to sew up the sides where it was snapped together. Now it just slips over the top and we wrap the bottom to keep spiders from making webs between uses. We are going to incorporate a draw string in the bottom to cinch it tight around the pole. Other than that it has been an excellent product!!

I have a tiny back yard but hate to use the dryer so I love how this folds up when I'm done. Digging the large hole for the base was a ton of work because the soil was so compact and full of rocks. You have to dig pretty deep too, but that would be the case for any clothesline. Once in and without cement, it is very sturdy. I'm very happy with the clothesline!

I have the mount bolted to the edge of my deck, so I can pop the rack in when I need to use it and store it in the garage when I'm not using it. It (the small one) holds about three loads of laundry at a time and is quite well constructed and a bit heavy. This means I can safely use it with a full load when the wind is blowing. The lines do not get all tangled up when you unfold it, either. Good rack.

The drying rack assembly was simple. (Our soil is clay and rock.) The pole is very stable in the hole due to the wings on the buried portion. I love putting the rack down and covering it between uses, very easy to do. I believe this clothes dryer will last many, many years.

This rack is great! Heavy duty and large enough for my king size sheets. It twirls nice and clothes dry quickly. I put it in the ground myself. It has stayed put now that the ground around it firmed up. I can't believe how quick it came.

We purchased the small clothes drying rack and are very happy with it. My husband liked the easy set up and surprisingly stable base as well as the obvious quality construction. We cloth diaper and I can fit a whole weeks worth of flats, flour sack towels, wipes and cover up to dry and sun. It rotates easily in the breeze and opens and closes easy too. Everything is so fresh drying outside, I much prefer it to the artificial "fresh" fragrances added to laundry products. Would absolutely recommend this product to others!

I have purchased many umbrella clothes drying racks over the years. They always break in the wind. I was so happy to find this amazing, sturdy, big drying rack. It IS easy to install, but my husband and I would highly recommend using concrete in the hole. We are going to take ours out and do that because it tends to lean a bit to the side even though it was straight at the beginning. I try to balance the clothes all around, but it still leans. Not a big deal, but we will put it in concrete. Love this drying rack! Wish there were other colors besides orange for the big one. We can see it miles away. =)

Customer service was great. The ground stake was missing from the box. I think it was the shippers fault because the box appeared to be re-taped I called on of Friday and got the part on Monday. The directions could've been a little bit better but overall it was pretty easy installation. Having the clothesline completely assembled was a big plus. I don't think I could've strung the line as well as the factory did.

Really, really glad we purchased the BestDryingRack. I mounted the PVC receptacle pipe to the side of our deck so we can hang laundry from the deck and the rack is easily removed when not in use. I drilled a hole a bit larger than the diameter of BestDryingRack aluminum pole in the deck right next to the house under the roof overhang/soffit for easy, quick storage. My wife has wanted a clothesline for many, many years and we now finally have one (SHAME on me for not finding, buying and installing this sooner!). Really pleased with the construction and overall quality of unit. Also purchased the high quality clothespins and fabric cover. We simply couldn't be more pleased with the products and the purchase process / experience.

Summer is finally here, well at least summer like weather. Purchased as a Christmas gift. Now able to put this clothesline to work. What can I say, absolutely the best!! Our old four metal post close line had to go. Needed the room for a gargage. The DL14 was the answer. Not only does it allow us to have enough line to hang loads of laundry we can easily collapse the unit. Perfectly stores out of the way during back yard activities. Thanks again!!

I am thrilled with my new clothes drying rack. I have had a similar tho smaller metal version at two houses. When the arms bent and broke under a stiff wind with sheets on the line it was time to replace it. This one is so much better. The spacing of lines mean it hold clothes on every line. Not the alternate lines I had to do on my small metal one. It spins easily so the wind doesn't beat up the laundry. And it takes the king size sheets without folding. Yeah! Fabulous construction. Took me 30 minutes to install. Easy peasy.

I love it. The only thing I would have liked differently would have been the instructions. Got it put together and it has upheld to very high winds right after we installed it here in Va. We just dug the hole and put all the pieces together and inserted no cement was used. We probably had like 50 miles per hour winds and it never affected it at the least. So glad I got this one.!!!

I have had 2 or 3 cheap rotating clotheslines in the past 9 years. We purchased new line when our first plastic/string line started cracking and breaking. Shortly after we had threaded the new nylon line, the pole broke so we purchased a new clothesline and saved the nylon line. Since our last one broke, we knew it was time to start looking for a clothesline that was more sturdy and would last better. I found the small umbrella clothesline online. It sounded like a great product with 14 gauge galvanized steel and pine arms and an 18 gauge steel center post. I love the nylon rope for the lines. The post spins very easily...too easily sometimes, if that's possible. I have only had it a couple of weeks but feel assured it will last for many years. It's a bit taller than my last one, but I like being able to walk under the lines without ducking my head. I would definitely recommend this clothesline!

I bought the small umbrella clothesline and cover. I love the ease of putting up and taking down the umbrella-this is a great feature. I like to remove it after each use to free up yard space and I like the fact I don't have to look at it when not in use. It is sturdy and being able to turn the clothesline as I hang clothes is very convenient. At first I was afraid it was too small but after several weeks I find the size is great - I never run out of space and I hang 2 large loads of wash. I'm only washing for 2 so a family with children might want the larger umbrella unless you do laundry several times a week. I would definitely recommend this umbrella clothesline - you won't be disappointed.

We ordered the smaller 9 foot rotary clothesline and the cover. We received the main package within 2 business days and the cover a couple of days later. My wife and I put the clothesline up and it was very easy with everything included and complete with clear concise instructions. Totally impressed with the "industrial" quality of the components and the final product. We first thought the price a bit steep, but it now seems a bargain for a USA made product of such quality construction. We have started using the clothesline and are very happy so far. I have shared your information with friends on Facebook and have told other "real" friends as well.

I liked the idea of placing the dryer in the ground without the use of concrete. I'm an organic gardener and prefer not to add unnatural materials in the soil. The clothes dryer is an incredible value and it will last me for many years saving me a lot of money in the constant replacement of the aluminum-made dryers.

Bought as a Christmas Gift. Have yet to set up and use the drying rack. Living in Wisconsin presents. A challenge during the winter months. Can not wait until warmer weather when I can once again put laundry out side to dry.
