My wife, Ginny, always air dries her clothes and the cheap folding units kept breaking due to the flimsy construction. She is elated with the new product and sturdy construction. So far, the clothes dry quicker and the stand holds a lot more garments more efficiently. Overall her rating is BOOYA!!! Two thumbs up!!

Very high quality. I have two of the round collapsible racks. They are quite sturdy. If I'm not using them for drying, the grandchildren like to use them for tents by draping blankets all over them. If I were to change anything, it would be to make them a little taller (maybe a foot?) so that I could dry a shirt on a hanger without it touching the ground.

I absolutely love the "Best Drying Rack", and I could not be more pleased with this purchase. It's such a simple idea, yet effective idea. I thought the circular design was really novel, and now that I have it I can say with confidence that it works really, really well. Much better than any other drying rack I have tried. The spacing really helps the clothes dry faster, and the diameter of the wood is much gentler on the clothes themselves. When the clothes are dry there are no nasty creases. The product is also really well-made, and stores very easily and compactly in my closet. I've only had it for a couple of months now, but I think it is made to be very durable as well. It's nice to finally see a "Made in the USA" product that is well worth the purchase. I recommend "Best Drying Rack" to anyone. An excellent product!

This is the second Best Drying Rack we have bought. We liked the first one so much, we bought a second one. It really is the best drying rack in the world. It is easy to set up, takes very little space when folded, and hangs tons of clothes, towels, even sheets. There isn't a week that goes by that I don't use it. Because it unfolds like an umbrella, you can slide the sleeves of a sweater or t-shirt over the rods and they dry much faster and don't lose their shape. I balance the load on it just to make it stand up straight--not such a big deal with little items, but for big things, it's a good idea. I've had a lot of drying racks--and haven't really liked them much. Never really thought there could be anything different. A rack's a rack. Nope, it's not. This is the absolute best. And, I found it through an obscure little advertisement in a magazine. The only thing--and it's common to all drying racks--if it is windy, it can tip over. Not a big deal. Sturdy, strong drying rods, unique configuration. I can get more laundry on this than any other rack. This little guy is unique. Never seen one like it. But don't go by me. Buy your own and have a lot of fun. My husband uses it--and that's a miracle.

My wife likes the drying rack very much and uses it often. But, I, Mr. Handyman need to reattatch the metal pieces on the end of the rods. The keep coming off. Is there a solution to the problem. Other than that I have given two for gifts.

it is an awesome product but i have come to discover that the 'arms' seem a little short/not long enough for some of my clothes. I am 6ft tall and many of my shirts and pants are wider than what the wood arm is long so i have to have some of the clothes squished up a bit on the drying rod. Overall a wonderfully made product and great design.

Overall, the drying rack is just what I wanted and is a great product, but my suggestion is that the rack's arms could be a couple of inches longer. I am 65 and I am using this same type rack that belonged to my mother, and she has been gone 17 years. We have had to do some MacGyver repairs on the ends of the arms because they broke off, so was really glad when I found this rack. I'm using both of them when we have many t-shirts in the laundry; I just don't put some things in the dryer. Thanks for a great quality product.

We love your product. This is the third Best Drying Rack that we have purchased. It is very high quality and well made. My husband and I bought one for ourselves and one for each of our children. The fact that it folds up and stores compactly was the reason we ordered it. That is a great feature. I LOVE MY BEST DRYING RACK! I had this rack on my radar for awhile but just didn't have the space to do it. Now that I do I don't know what took me so long. I love the "honest" design: nothing fancy, just superbly crafted and clever, and oh so functional! I love that I can use as few or all of the rods as I need to for the drying needs that I have each time. I would recommend everyone get one of these racks for their air-drying needs. It took me a few tries and very, very short "break-in" period for the mechanism (if I can call it that) for the legs to drop open to flow easily. But that's the nature of the materials. Again, I love my drying rack. The Best Drying Rack takes ordinary functional need to a sublime level. Yeah, it's that good!

I am an indie yarn dyer and I purchased this rack to hang my yarn to dry. I know this rack has a lot of uses for a lot of things, but if you dye yarn - trust me, this thing is perfection. I can hang 80+ skeins at a time, it folds down small when not in use (which is almost never), and because of the way things hang, my dry time is SO much faster than when I was hanging near/on the wall. Well what can I say, rarely do I love a product as much as your drying rack. We only went to the US for a week but with Greg's help and a couple phonecalls we managed to time the delivery to our hotel and the rack fits just perfectly in a standard suitcase. The only thing I regret is not buying two or three. It honestly is great and surpasses most of the plastic drying racks in both function AND looks. I will certainly buy one more next year when we go to the US. Although a bit pricey, it is a great product, well made with solid wood and materials. The design is actually an antique design, but hey, it works so why mess with it? It has worked well for the 1-2 months that we've had it and I love how it collapses down to a very small size when not in use. We've had a few other drying racks that were quite a bit cheaper in price, but it showed in terms of ease of use and longevity. This product is definitely an example of you get what you pay for.

I've made several purchases. My first was the large drying rack for the yard and I absolutely love that. I know that there will be times when it is too cold to use it so I purchased one of the round drying racks for my porch. My porch is enclosed and gets nice and toasty during the day so I've put one of the round racks up to supplement a metal rack. Clothes dry out there in under 24 hours. The round drying rack holds a fair amount of wet clothes and I like the fact that it is all wood and metal - no plastic that breaks. It also folds down easily although I just leave mine up on the porch. Hope to not be using the drier much this winter.

This product cannot free stand!!! The moment you open the arms it falls over and if there's nothing on the arms, the slightest wind will knock it down!! I bought this rack to put the kids shirts and towels on after going in the pool and I ended up just using the rails of the deck like I did before ordering your drying rack

I bought the drying rack to use on my back porch in the summer and inside in the winter. I have been using it outside and am happy to have it. I have placed 12 towels to dry on it. Although there is a steep learning curve with this product, I still like it. I have learned to tie it or steak it to some immovable object, otherwise it blows over and all my laundry is on the ground. I've mastered several techniques for keeping the clothes from being blown off the rack. I have used a clothes line for nearly 50 years so this is a big adjustment for me. However, I am able to get most of my laundry, except sheets and towels, dried on the rack. I do wish there were some sort of clips to clip the clothes to the rack.

I am happy with the drying rack overall. I purchased it to hold wet towels next to our pool. It is much flimsier than I expected and the towels must be space and balanced around the rack carefully. The top was quite wobbly; my husband tried to tighten the top bolt and ended up cracking the top of the center rod. He glued it back and put a bracket around it. It is serving the purpose.

Best purchase I made so far this year. Had to replace a couple of flimsy racks that were made overseas that broke. The BestDryingRack is really well engineered and well made, very durable and its great that it is USA made. Its great how compact they can fold down to and the setup can be varied when folded out. I bought this drying rack for my daughter who had just moved into an apartment in LA with no washer or dryer. She purchased a washer and thought she could go without a dryer if she had a good drying rack. When I asked her what she thought of this drying rack, she responded "Everyone should have one, Mom! This design is ingenious and is so easy to work and move around the apartment. And it is really well made." She has no plans to buy a dryer and is very happy with her decision. In the video jeans were placed on the rack and it held straight, however when I place my towels on the racks they tend to bend...afraid they will break in the near future. On the upside it is easy to set up and place in my hall closet when not in use.

This is my second Best Drying Rack and would not purchase any other style. Prior to owning the first one, I owned a smaller aluminum rack which was not too stable nor sturdy; laundry was too heavy for the rack. This rack is strong, sturdy, and can hold my entire wash without collapsing. I was delighted to find out that I can purchase replacement parts if needed. I would highly recommend this drying rack to others.

I love my best drying rack. It is perfect for drying out towels after daily trips to the pool. And when the towels are dry, it's easy to fold it up and hide it out of sight. So easy my 8 year old helps set it up and put it away. I'm saving water and time from not having to wash swim towels and the towels dry in no time. We purchased the smaller of the two folding clotheslines, the portable drying rack, and the washing system buckets and clothes plunger. I initially hesitated at the price, thinking they were comparable to what was in the popular stores, but I did not need too. The quality of these products is outstanding, much more durable and better made than anything I could find locally. Of course, that would not mean anything if they were not useful. But, we find ourselves using the clothesline every day, and it is so easy to install and use. I am 5' 4" and can easily reach the lines to hang clothes, but the installation can be adjusted to most heights. Living in Florida, we have a constant parade of wet swimsuits and towels that the portable drying rack on the porch handles easily, but folds in a flash to accompany us on our camping adventures.

On the quality side my only concern would be the size of the dow rods used. When I hang wet towels on the rods it places a lot of pressure on them. Also as a personal preference my I believe my next rack will be rectangular. The circular one does not fix in corners and sticks out into the room more. The product works well and I do use it a lot.

Back to the Rack--it's as sturdy as advertised, simple to set up and take down, and is very, very handy. I love the fact that it spins. This makes it so easy to fill every slot. These are the only racks out there that hold so much and fold up so well for storage. They are so easy to set up and put away. We live in a large house but they will be ideal when we downsize too. They are sturdy and well-made. The dowels don't seem to support large heavy towels (mine might be heavier than normal and I didn't want to chance it)but they will hold bigger towels that are lighter - great for clothes too. I am thrilled that I can dry so much at one time (I ordered two racks) and then put it all away. I do have another big rack for sheets and towels. Other racks I have seen just do not hold as much and are not as well made - great design!! Even my husband, who always looks for big and sturdy and well-made, was very impressed when I brought them home. Thank you so much for making these.

They need to change their name from Best Drying Rack to "The Best Drying Rack that is so much better than anything else out there that you won't even believe how fabulous it is!" I cannot say enough great things about our Best Drying Rack! Brilliant design, great construction, easy to use, easy to store, and...wait for it...it dries clothes faster than other racks! It's by no means an inexpensive rack, but it is totally worth the investment. We purchased two racks, and have used them almost everyday since receiving them. If you need a drying rack, then you would be foolish to purchase anything else!!

I love my new drying rack!! It is fast and simple to set up and folds down so small it fits into my cupboard when I don't need it. It's so strong and stable, it holds a full load of my families laundry without risk of bending or falling over. I love that I can easily move it from inside to outside as the weather changes. I am so pleased! It is sturdy! When it arrived, it stated that it turns. Who cares? Not me. Oh my gosh! I love the turning feature! I can stand and keep turning while I hang my clothes. I love the drying rack. I bought two -- one for a wedding gift for an apartment-dwelling designer/architect couple (they love it!) and one for myself to replace a vintage Artmoore one that's hidden somewhere in storage. This one is sturdier than my old one, doesn't tip when you load only one side of it, even outside in a breeze. I'm so glad you're making these -- it really is a brilliant design and it's nice to have a new one that isn't missing rings on the ends of the rods. Shipping was quick -- I ordered while they were on vacation but received them two days after they returned.

I bought the round wooden drying rack. When it arrived, I was surprised because it was such a simple looking device. But I've grown to love this little rack. This is going to sound effusive, but the maple and steel drying rack is spectacular. I live in an apartment with an itty bitty balcony, so the (absurdly cool) umbrella clothesline weren't an option. The mini rack is sturdy in use and compact in storage; my roommate's girlfriend routinely steals it on weekends.

This is a superb drying rack. VERY sturdy and doesn't tip over. It not only holds a lot of clothes, but because one end of each rack is open (not attached to another pole) you can hang things in other ways that you can't on a typical rack - through the sleeve or leg for example - which leaves space for more. It's also easier to hang things from hangers on the rack - no weird angling to get the garment to hang straight. I like that it spins so you don't have to move the whole rack to get at something if you're in a tight space. Also good for draping large items over to dry, like sheets. Although more expensive than typical racks, it's skillfully made and should last for years.

After the horrible electric bills from this past winter, I thought I'd get back to hanging out my clothes. What to do come rainy or winter weather? This is by far the best indoor drying system (but you can, of course, use it on a patio or deck too) I have ever used. I love the fact that the hanger base rotates making it easy to arrange heavier and lighter pieces. And I really like what little room it takes up when not in use. It just sits in the corner of my closet. Built to last, it's worth every penny.

Absolutely an amazing product! I bought this for my wife, and it has completely changed the way she does laundry. She is now able to put far less clothes through the dryer, and they dry quickly with no creases or marks. She also finds that she's ironing clothes much less frequently since the clothes hang dry so much smoother. The best drying rack easily holds a load of laundry as advertised. My only issue is that the rack tips over in mild wind. I have to put weights on the legs to steady the rack. Otherwise I love the product and use it twice a week.

It is the best drying rack ever. I use it to dry wool yarn that I hand dye. I recommended it to my friend who lives in Germany and has to dry her clothes via rack. This is an ingenious system for drying clothes. It looks very cool, works beautifully (no bending over, no reaching up high! turns round and round so nothing is hard to reach!) and is made in the USA, something hard to find in, well, the USA. Very sturdy drying rack, I have been impressed at its ability to hold big wet blankets, towels, etc. Folds up very small - though mine are rarely folded because I use them after every laundry load! I love the rack, but am disappointed that it is not taller. I like to dry my slacks by hanging them from the waist, not folding them over (less mildew smell). So far, it is working out great, but I am concerned that over time the arms might warp.

It is a very neat design , but one thing my wife always says it needs to be higher off the ground so when you hang shirts and pants on hangers to dry they wont hit the ground.

My December purchase of a drying rack was for my lady partner. It was a direct response of my own purchase a couple of years ago..great product design at a reasonable price..this rack has saved me it's purchase several times in electric savings AND longevity of my clothing by air drying..
