Unlike the cheap imported clotheslines found at department stores, our clothesline will last for decades. Imported models are thin aluminum with riveted connections - they are not repairable. Ours is made of steel and wood, with bolted connections, and all parts are available if you ever need them.
Short video that shows how to open the umbrella clothesline. The small version is shown, but the large clothesline works the same way.
Closing your umbrella clothesline when not in use will free up your yard space, and minimize rope stretching.
Covering your clothesline with our weather resistant fabric cover will improve it's appearance and protect it from the sun and wind. The cover is made of Emerald Green open weave fabric commonly used for outdoor furniture. What does weather resistant mean?
*FREE SHIPPING on orders over $50.00 to continental USA.
The simple locking system (see picture of lever with green arms above) allows the UV-resistant poly rope to be tightened as it stretches so it can be used for many years.
No concrete is needed. The heavy duty metal wings provide all the support to keep the umbrella clothes line anchored in the ground. This means installation can be accomplished easily with just a shovel. It is OK to use concrete if you wish.
I love how your clothesline is built. We had one of those light weight umbrella clothes dryers, but it broke
one windy day and could not be fixed. Your clothesline is built like a tank! I doubt it will ever break.
I really like that it is big enough to hang a blanket. Next paycheck I will a cover for it.
First I wanted to see if it really opened and closed easy first, it does.

We got our clothesline this afternoon. I grabbed my shovel, dug the little hole,
and had it all installed real quick. Not needing concrete was great! Now we are ready to dry some clothes. Thank you,
